The Merits Fende has 4x batteries. Does this give the scooter more power?
The Merits Fende was designed with 4x batteries in order to adjust the centre of gravity in the machine. This makes the machine “sturdier”, stable and much more comfortable when the user is driving or crossing roads and footpaths. There is no added advantage of more power.
Most mobility scooters only have 2x batteries. If the Fende has 4x batteries, what size charger do I need?
It is always best to refer to the specification chart of the product or seek the expertise of a qualified mobility scooter repair agent. In this case, because two batteries run in parallel, a brand new Merits Fende requires a 24V 5A charger.

Wow I am so very impressed with my Merits Fende White. It takes me everywhere. We go to pool 3 mornings a week and then down to our local shopping centre for a coffee and Spotlight. Once a fortnight we are off to my local Club for lunch with the girls. I get to go and visit friend as well visit our local Pharmacy and Newsagency and collect my fruit and veges.
