TESTING
We have testing equipment to test batteries for SOH (state of health), SOC (state of charge), as well as Regulated Current Discharge equipment.
Battery discharge testing requires 24 hours.
Also equipment to test battery chargers, for Volts, Amps and Watts, throughout the charging process.
Battery chargers bought to our premises are checked for a fee of 20.00, while you wait (about 10 – 15 mins)

LITHIUM BATTERY TYPES - NOTE -
Please be aware, there are many different TYPES of Lithium batteries.
Typically they are know as Lithium ION batteries, but each are a different chemistry and requires a specific charger.
The wrong charger will either undercharge or over charge a battery. You can work out for yourself the results of such errors.
In order to reduce the confusion, in general we mention Lithium batteries and chargers, but in specific terms we specify the exact chemistry or application.
As we do not deal with batteries for phones and other small equipment (typically know as Lithium Ion) we will not discuss these types here.
As you can see from this Lithium Ion battery link, there are many different types. This is not a full list.
To avoid confusion we always specify the Scooter Name / Brand for both the battery and the charger, and do not use the generic term “Lithium Ion” on this page. Some types that are specifically mentioned are; Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4), and Ternary (LiNiCoMnO2).
